How to manually update your startimes decoder software.

Actually the main cause of this problem is due to low or non-proper installation of the startimes signal. so in this article gonna learn how to manually upgrade the decoder and solve the freezing problem.(Not all the decoders do freeze)

NOTE: This should be done by an accredited and qualified installer. Am not responsible for any damages that may occur in the process of the upgrade by an unqualified person.
Kindly follow the steps below to get your software updated.

Step 1. Unplug the power adapter cable from the decoder.(leaving the HDMI/Av cable inside, i mean the cable connecting the video to the TV set)

Step 2. press and hold the menu and down volume key on the decoder together.(this buttons are found on the decoder itself, it is a 3 and only button found on top of the decoder which are M,which means Menu,Up and down arrow key.)

Step 3. While still holding the two buttons together, plug in the power adapter.

Step 4. It will show loading, please still keep holding the buttons and wait for the 2nd loading. when the 2nd loading appears you then remove your hands and wait for the decoder to successfully load and reboot.

please note that the decoder will restore back to default and you need o re-scan it again. But to save yourself from all this stressful procedures,just make sure you track a good signal. You must not get less than 53 percent signal and your signal strength should be 80 percent and above.
